Know who to turn to, scholar or mental health professional | Seyed Hadi Yassin

Islam has provided remedies for humankind's ailments given it is the code of life. Although there is great benefit in prayer, fasting and supplication, Islam instructs us that illnesses often require treatment by professionals who have studied the human body and understand how to treat its dysfunction. The same goes for mental health issues, which sometimes need attention from professionals who are trained in the various facets of the mind and psychology.
